FAQ’s
1. How much?
Depending on your team's program (i.e. number of practices, tournaments attending, coaching fees, Uniforms etc.) your child's team fees for the 10-month soccer year (late August to late June for most teams) can vary.
For those playing on premier level teams, long distance travel expenses (air fare and hotel.) You should get a general idea of the team program and costs from the coach or manager before accepting a position on a team.
2. What League would the Academy teams play?
The league played will be determined by season and strength of the team. [New York Club Soccer League, PL Division 1 and 2, Presidents, EDP, NERP, Region 1].
3. Who are the Coaches?
Qualified coaches will be selected and required to have United States Soccer Federation coaching qualifications License Ranging from National D License to National A License. Any questions can be directed to the following coordinators:

4. Is White Plains Youth Soccer Travel Teams Dissolved?
Not at all this PREMIER PROGRAM is an addition to the TRAVEL program making the club stronger and better and giving the opportunity to the more talented players in our club and Westchester to Compete at the Highest Level.
5. If I don't make the Premier, can I still play for WPYSA Travel Teams?
Absolutely yes we will continue to field teams at all levels. We would also have separate tryouts for Travel Teams which compete in the Westchester Youth Soccer League.
6. Do we practice in White Plains or where?
All our teams will practice in White Plains fields For Fall and Spring. During the Winter we practice in Various Gyms in Westchester.
7. How far are the Tournaments?
Most can be driven to but this is again driven by the competitiveness of the team and planned and communicated before the season. Our teams have also attended International Tournaments like the San Marino Cup in Italy where air fare was required.
8. Premier Coaches?
Any Coach interested to join our staff will be interviewed and selected by the coaching committee. Please email any resumes to wpys@hotmail.com
9. Scholarships available?
We plan on the ability to not deny any player to play in our Academy Boys Teams due to their inability to meet the team dues. The team will conduct fundraiser and the player receiving a scholarship must attend these events.
10. Major Tournament and College Showcases?
Our U15 through U18 ACADEMY BOYS will attend the Major College Showcases like: WALKILL, BETHESDA, NEWSS, CASL, PDA, SURF CUP, MASSAPEQUA, MANHATTAN, JEFFERSON CUP, BALTIMORE MANIA, PDA, FC DELCO, POTOMAC.
Our U11 through U14 ACADEMY BOYS AND UNITED GIRLS will attend the Major Tournaments like: EAST MEADOW, CAPITAL CUP, DISCOVERY, COLUMBUS CUP BROOKLYN, PA CLASSICS, MAPS CHALLENGE, MANHATTAN, FC DELCO, POTOMAC.
During the year we also try to plan an International Trip for some of our teams to play in the summer.
