About WPYSA

White Plains Youth Soccer Association, Inc.

1 Borneman Place

White Plains, NY 10606

WPYSA is a member of the Westchester Youth Soccer League (WYSL), a league sanctioned by the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association and the larger United States Youth Soccer Association.

The White Plains Youth Soccer Association is a tax-exempt not-for- profit organization formed pursuant to Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code

The White Plains Youth Soccer Association (“WPYSA”) is a not for profit tax exempt organization and a registered member of the Westchester Youth Soccer League (WYSL), an official league sanctioned by the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association. Currently, over 450 children from White Plains, and the surrounding areas ( from communities locate in Westchester, Bronx and Putnam) play soccer on the 28 soccer teams registered under the WPYSA Club banner. These teams range from u-9 boys and girls travel soccer teams playing in the WYSL travel soccer league up to u -18 boys and girls teams playing in the WYSL as well as in various premier soccer leagues competing all over the East Coast. One of the goals of the WPYSA is to keep as many children playing soccer as possible, never turning away eager soccer players in our community due to financial inability.

The Club relies heavily on unpaid volunteers to manage teams, organize practices and coach the younger teams, but the Club does at all levels require the use of paid professional trainers to teach the children proper soccer skills and game strategy. The Club also requires that paid professionals coach as well as train the older more competitive teams that compete in the premier leagues and higher divisions of the WYSL.
